Vernon County Sheriff John Spears says Lachman was reported missing Monday, and has been entered as a missing person to national databases.

Two burglaries were reported at Blondie's Restaurant in Stoddard, and burglaries were reported at the Old Tool Shed Antiques store and Chris' Clip Joint in Genoa, and the River Lounge, Kumlin Taxidermy, Bright Spot Tavern and Restaurant and the De Soto Thrift Shop in De Soto.
