Highway closed, Bay Area Amtrak service disrupted by derailed train in Pittsburg

A freight train derailed in Pittsburg early this morning, disrupting Amtrak service to the Bay Area and forcing the closure of a major East Contra Costa thoroughfare, authorities said.
