Special Olympics opens with enthusiasm
The cold wind blowing down the mountainside did little to detract from the excitement and enthusiasm of nearly 300 Special Olympics athletes representing over a dozen zones throughout the State of New Jersey gathered on the icy slopes of Vernon's Mountain Creek Ski Resort for the 2012 Winter Special Olympics Opening Ceremonies held Monday.
