The Butte County Sheriff's Office responded to a 3:34 a.m. 9-1-1 call to find Terry Bounds, 39, of Stirling City dead inside the home, the office reported in a press release today.

The incident happened Saturday just after 3:30 a.m. In the 17000 block of Manzanita Street in Stirling City.

Residents of Stirling City had a chance to grill the candidates for District 5 supervisor on Tuesday night, and they definitely took it.
