The 2nd Annual Stinger Sprint 5K Run/Walk and Bumble Bee Fun Run, sponsored by Residential Home Mortgage Corp, is still accepting registrants for the June 3 race at the Greenwich Twp.

CLINTON TWP . - On Friday, May 11, at about 4:55 pm, a 2003 Honda Accord operated by Michelle Angley, 38, of High Bridge, was stopped while waiting to make a left turn from Route 513 onto Gray Rock Road when it was struck from the rear by a 2011 Toyota Highlander operated by Karin Sharkey, 40, of Stewartsville.

Several people were arrested in the past week for shoplifting from local Bridgewater stores, namely from Home Depot, Macy's and Target.

Krzysztof Chutnik, 53, of Stewartsville was charged with obstruction of the administration of law on Sunday, May 6, at about 3:50 a.m. Township police were sent to the 700 block of Jackson Road "for assistance with a disorderly party." When police arrived, they saw Chutnik running away from them, police said.

Joseph Jardine, 30, of Stewartsville has been charged with shoplifting a $34.99 bottle of vodka from Bourbon Street Wine and Spirits on Saturday, April 28, at about 5:30 p.m. Store employees told police someone had exited the store without paying for a bottle of vodka and supplied police with the make, model and color of the vehicle he was driving.
