Memorial Day event set for National Cemetery
Fort Donelson National Battlefield and Cemetery along with the Dover VFW Post 4730 encourage all Stewart and Houston County residents to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony, which will be held on Monday, May 28, at 1 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the National Cemetery next to the Administration Building and is free to the public.
As the month of May rolls along we are reminded of flooding that affected the bi-county area the past couple of years, as well as the approaching one-year anniversary of the tornado that struck the Big Rock community.
New trail features Cheatham County gems
More than a dozen Cheatham County sites and attractions are included on the new Screaming Eagle Trail, the 13th of 16 self-guided driving trails in the Discover Tennessee Trails and Byways program.
