AGAIN? What is the problem with these southern states and the animal abuse? Never seen anything like it. Why can't MO do something about all these puppy mills and animal abuse? You have a Lot o them. Animals running loose, being abandoned, dropped off in country, all kinds of puppy mills, people stealing dogs, people shooting dogs. What the hell is wrong with this state? And what will it take to make sure our animals are safe? No one seems to care or want to do a thing! WHY?

And it has been happening for a very long time it just hasn't been publicized before. Didn't you hear about the over 400 pitbulls that the humane society rescued from about 4 states? The Caruthersville Humane Society is very proactive, but they are very small and they do what they can. St. Louis was called in to help on this one because there were so many and a lot of them were large animals.(horses, goats, sheep, dogs, cats.) With these hard economic times you are probably going to see a lot more abandoned and dropped off. Please report abuse and neglect when you see it. Something can and will be done about it. We are the only voice they have.
