Stanhope asks for 'quiet' train
By BRUCE A. SCRUTON bscruton@njherald.com STANHOPE - While work continues to lay a new railbed, ties and rails, the borough has asked NJ Transit to declare the crossing at County Route 602 as a "quiet zone" when trains start running on the revitalized Lackawanna Cutoff.
