Stamford students earn lunch with principal, superintendent
Over the school year, students at the Stamford Elementary School have been recognized for being responsible, reasonable, respectful and reliable.

Town passes fiscal a 13 school budget
STAMFORD, Vt. -- The town approved a fiscal 2013 school budget totaling $1,709,855 at a special town meeting Monday night.
Pvt. Harvey Blanchard, son of Mrs. Martha Blanchard of 301 Friend St., is home on leave after finishing eight weeks of basic Army training at Fort Jackson, S.C. He will leave in a week to report to Aberdeen Proving Grounds for a 14-week course in automotive maintenance.
