The picture is typical. A line of people, three windows but only one worker moving at the speed of a glacier. Going to the post office is like a trip to the dentist. It's time to overhaul the system.

If you enjoy this service, wait until the government takes over your health care!

I don't listen to the radio. Can you prove me wrong on this? Do you think the feds have done a good job with the post office, Medicaid or Social Security? Can you find me one person that believes that? Again, you want to trust your health the a bureaucracy?

What did the post office in was not the govt but the fact that the world has changed. No mails anymore. Everything is email. They lost their biggest revenue producer. The same reason the Advocate is going down the tubes.

Who said anything about a health-care bureaucracy? As far as I know, no single proposal has caught traction, and last time I bothered to look, both the insurance companies and the Dr lobby was in favor of making some kind of radical change. What that change is, is up in the air. Unless you already have closed your mind. Hence the talk radio reference.

I like government! I just hate incompetence. There is a major difference. Plenty of incompetent people in private sector as well.

Do you want to risk your health care to be as effective as FEMA was in Louisiana? There is much more incompetence in the government than the private sector because of bureaucracy and red tape. This happens in small towns as well as big government. Why just last year the Senate privatized their commissary because of incompetence. If they can't run a restaurant how are they going to run health care?

Now the 45 minute wait in line will be 1.5 hours. When revenue keeps dropping as customers go elsewhere they can raise the rates again to drive away more customers...and so on.
What a disaster.

Give them all the early retirement they are dreaming of, and an old mail bag they can stuff with newspaper and sleep on at home, just like they did at work for 30 years!

Thats right..in your ideological blur keep slinging irrelevant comparisons at us. What makes you think Lousiana is the same as CT? Lets face it, we would not put up with 5% of the problems that they do. ANd I have no clue what goes on in the senate commissary. Why would I? But ask me what goes on here locally....

I just love the liberal mind. Always full of facts, logic and a good understaning of the real world.
