2 small quakes strike in Southern California
Two small earthquakes rattled parts of Southern California late Sunday and early Monday, the most recent a magnitude 3.6 quake southeast of Bakersfield just before 4 a.m. The first quake was 11 miles east-southeast of Anza and 19 miles south-southwest of Palm Desert, according to the U.S. Geological Survey .
