Remember a few days ago when so many comments about the abused murdered woman were "why did she keep taking him back?" This is one of the reasons why they are scared and keep taking them back.

That whole "note" with "success" and "failed" is a little creepy. I hate to say it because I like to play them, but it's definitely something you'd see in the stats of a shooter video game for different levels and missions.

Weapons are great equalizers and any elderly woman or 12 year old with proper training can effectively stop brutality as well as any soldier or cop.

In Ramsey County a charge of 1st. degree murder has to be taken to a Grand Jury for an indictment. Give it time!

Jesse wasn't correct in saying religion's for the weak-minded. Mental defectives are everywhere, not just in church. Sociopaths have the ability to memorize scripture just like the rest of us. Another reason for concealed carry and self defense training. I have a daughter who is legally blind, at the end of this month she tests for for her 2nd degree black belt in Tai Kwon Do. She also can put 6 quick shots in dark blurry target at 7 feet. I was in law enforcement for over 20 years and at almost every homicide I was on, people said they couldn't believe the suspect could do this. One never knows when a human being is going reach the cracking point, we just need to be prepared and it is not a matter of walking on egg shells all the time. It is have the means available to defend ones self.

Everyone is right the mother is hero, she placed herself in harms way. It is just to bad she couldn't defend herself. My prayers go out to the daughter and the family. Especially for the mother, she is a true hero.
