The interim mayor for the Town of Cullen has been fired from his full-time job as a police officer for the neighboring City of Springhill following accusations of misconduct.

Several residents who serve on boards appointed by the Webster Parish Police Jury got clarification Wednesday on how to comply with accountability expectations in a proposed ordinance the jury will vote on next week.

Webster Parish Sheriff's Lt. Shawn Baker and Springhill detective Ronald Wedgeworth were alerted to Bradshaw's presence at a local pharmacy in Springhill, where he purchased Pseudoephedrine, a main precursor in manufacturing methamphetamine.

Springhill's five aldermen voted unanimously tonight to table a recommendation from the police chief to fire a police detective who is being investigated for allegedly exposing himself to a female officer.
