Board OKs 4 Dakota Conflict markers
The Brown County commissioners approved Tuesday a request to place four historical markers noting aspects of Brown County's involvement in the U.S.-Dakota Conflict of 1862.
Springfield boys win triangular
RRC took the meet on the girls' side. Alison Kircher of RRC shot a 49. Springfield's Callie Wersal shot a 53 while Anna Pommier, the medalist, had a score of 47.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn with burial at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

YES teams speak at County Congress
Youth Energy Summit teams from Sleepy Eye and Springfield talked about their environmental projects Friday at a Brown County Congress event at the Rural Electrical Association auditorium.
