Doesn't surprise me that many people here in downtown Springfield don't have fire alarms - when a lot of these people walk around in there pajamas all day, don't take good care of their children, don't work, does anyone really think they will have fire detectors. Why not just give it to them along with welfare, and anything else they can get for free. Bottom line is, those that work are responsible for those that don't. It's sickening.
