Panama City police say they have caught a volunteer firefighter who allegedly pretended to be an officer.

Panama City police said Friday that they have nabbed a volunteer firefighter who pretended to be a cop.

In the overall scheme of things, this isn't a big issue, but it shows how frustrating dealing with city government can be.

Ranked 16th out of the state's 67 school districts, Bay District no longer has any schools at "C" or "D" level.

Panama City, just under 100 miles southwest of Tallahassee on St. Andrews Bay, can be reached by a number of routes that differ in length and driving pleasure.
