PHOENIX: Study smart as finals begin
By JAMIE GWALTNEY Final exams began on Wednesday for students at Southern Nash and will end on June 4. The retest days will take place on the June 5 and 6, with the final school day on June 7. In the days before exams, teachers started the review process in preparation.

Bailey rezones property to allow new restaurant

The town's board of commissioners Monday followed the planning board's advice and unamiously rezoned a piece of property on Deans Street from residential to commercial-special use district so Mary and Richard Wilson can open a restaurant, The Leaning Tree, in a former residence.
