what the hell is wrong with people that treat children the way they do. she deserves to be starved and beaten. I hope God has no mercy on her soul

Her trial date is August 31st

I am so angry about this.. Ohhhhhhh someone should do to her what she has done. She will be the first on in prison talking about how inhumanely they are treated with their 3 meals a day and running water and electricity. but god forbid she have to use the restroom while other people are in the room or eat food that isn't gourmet when her children were sleeping on their own excrements and starving because of her.. She honestly deserves an eye for an eye on this one. She shouldhave to live like she made them live for that time.

Board to weigh more charges against medical examiner
A three-member panel from the state Board of Medical Examiners has so far substantiated 18 violations stemming from the long-running inquiry into the practice of Dr. Charles Harlan, a pathologist who spent three decades performing throughout Tennessee.
Harlan was once medical examiner for Davidson County and chief medical examiner for the state, but now he faces the possibility of civil fines and the revocation of his doctor's license. The panel resumes its open deliberations today and could rule during the session on whether Harlan deserves any sanctions.
The state Department of Health has filed charges in 20 -related incidents, including allegations of botched , sloppy record-keeping, wrong diagnoses and callous behavior to families.

could of lied in many cases. because of this i dont think Lonnie Owens should be sitting in jail for so long. Charges should be reduced.

This woman shouldn't get to live. She is a disgrace to real mothers, or just being a human. How in this world can anyone do this to kids? So sad for these precious little ones.

It was all about this thing collecting money and any other gov. ass. that she could. Thank God these kids are away from this monster.

It was not about the finances as you wouldn't know unless you were very close like I was. It was about domination, whether it was animals, children, husbands, boyfriends, it was about control.

What is the status of her case?
I can't believe she got free advertising from the Tennessean. Did they not do a background check on her first before they publish some heart warming story about her business. Don't get me wrong here. I also believe that everyone is innocent until proven guilty and all Americans have a right to make a living so don't publish negative things about her. On the other hand the Tennessean shouldn't be publishing this story either.

Sells papers, just look at the bad news, the Titans, everything negative in this world, they have one mission, satisfy the share holders.

Have not heard anything other than it was postponed again, have not seen my source in some time.

Well, DCS and DHS are at it again or should I say not at it.

I know of a situation where a little girl claimed that her daddy locked Her in a closet, told her Mom at DHS during visitation that He did it.

Abuse hotline was called and mother reported it to caseworker during visitation, they went out 24 hours later to investigate and found nothing, not a locked door and no damage to door that the child claimed to have kicked in. I know there was a lock on that closet and this 7 yr old just doesn't make up stories.

The caseworker has told Me She is tired of dealing with this case. She went on vacation to Disneyworld, probably didn't want to ruin her time off dealing with this case.

And the child's lawyer(guardian) refuses to answer any phone calls about this latest incident to the mother.

Nice going Williamson County DCS, another fine job of protecting children just like you did for Shelley's kids. PATHETIC!!!!

This kinda crap really breaks my heart. Sad stuff man, crazy stuff.

Saw the boy get adopted by His foster Mom yesterday, he seemed to be happy, smile from ear to ear.

She still has no remorse. She is out acting like she never did anything wrong! Where is the legal system today?!?! What good are they if they can't take care of the root of problems? And people wonder what our society is becoming!

In her mind she has done nothing. One day she will get Her's.

So has she gone to court or does it keep getting postponed? Its sickening to see her out in the neighborhood knowing what she has done.

As far as a know, Court has held it over to later date, not sure of what date it will be. No telling in Williamson county.
