David Lindstrom, who represents Spring Hill on the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners, announced today that he will not seek re-election. "Ten years is enough for my public service as a county commissioner.

He attended Chanute schools and then graduated from the Pittsburg State University auto mechanic program in 1989.

The new districts coincide with 2010 census statistics, which show that most of the growth in the county the past 10 years took place in the cities of Paola, Louisburg and Spring Hill.
