Annapolis has earned a spot on Forbes Traveler magazine 's list of America's Prettiest Towns for the second straight year.

You could say there's something in the water in Spring City. After all, it was the presence of fresh spring water that drew the first Mormon pioneers to it in 1852 and eventually gave the town its name.

The project has taken much longer than originally intended as the historic Muddy Creek Post Office was removed from Emery four years ago, but the post office has been rebuilt at the This is the Place Heritage Park.

The annual Spring City Heritage Day Celebration scheduled for Saturday, May 23, begins with breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., at the city bowery.

Block for block, house for house, there may be more historical buildings per capita in Spring City, in Sanpete County, than anywhere else in the state.
