Warm temps means water nuisance reappears
SPOONER, Wis. - With the big Fourth of July holiday this weekend, state water experts advise that the annual warm weather nuisance known as swimmer's itch is making its seasonal appearance in Wisconsin lakes.
Authorities are investigating the deaths of 2 people near Spooner. Deputies found the bodies of 72-year old Edward Linehan and his 69-year old wife Susan in their home on Little Bass Lake Road in the town of Casey.
