Issues within the SERE community have abounded for years: from letting Air Force Academy cadets participate in AFA SERE training (and the ensuing sexual assault allegations); to SERE instructors and psychologists working for JPRA/PRA assaulting/torturing detainees in Iraq and Afghanistan; to JPRA/PRA SERE USAF SSgt charged with child porn in 2008; to an incident at HQ JPRA/J3 in 2008, when a retired SERE instructor was found with a personal firearm in the SCIF (still working for the agency). It is just business as usual in SERE.
