An Eastern Idaho mental health clinic that was suspended from getting Medicaid payments in March has filed an appeal contesting the state Department of Health and Welfare's decision.

Kootenai County authorities say they have arrested a 20-year-old Post Falls man in their investigation into the death of a Spirit Lake teenager last year.

SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho-- Police arrested two people for drug related charges at New Hampshire Street home on Wednesday.

At 6:43pm on Sunday, January 13, Northern Lakes Fire District emergency personnel were dispatched to a possible structure fire on Dodd Road in Hayden.

The Spirit Lake Police Department has arrested Joseph B. Herbst, age 38, from Spirit Lake, for several counts of lewd conduct with a minor under the age of 16 and one count of delivery of a controlled substance to a minor.
