Thousands relying on Feed the Community meal

Published: Feed the Community organizers worry every year that donations won't be enough to cover the thousands of meals served to the hungry on Thanksgiving. Still, about $5,000 in donations are needed for the group to meet its $20,000 goal. Last year, about 6,200 people were served a hot Thanksgiving meal, and an additional 1,000 are expected to be served this year.
