Hearing Set For Officer Accused Of Faking Subpoenas
A former Sparta city police officer trying to get his job back has a hearing set for Wednesday.
Sgt. Dale Dodson was fired Monday for allegedly serving fake subpoenas pertaining to an unsolved murder case. Dodson told Channel 4 he had no comment about allegations he presented the town newspaper with bogus subpoenas. The subpoenas were delivered to the Sparta Expositor and to the Web site Topix in August.
