Mountain music standouts Wayne Henderson and Jeff Little headline LUKEfest Sunday, June 3, on the Crouse Park Stage in Sparta.

A state highway patrolman said yesterday that no additional charges will be filed against a driver whose front seat passenger was killed two Sundays ago in a wreck on U.S. 601 at Rockford Road near Dobson.

Mis Arados, a Mexican cuisine restaurant, has opened at 544 C. C. Camp Road. The restaurant features unique spices and flavors that are different from the typical Mexican fare.
