Sheriff's investigators continue to probe the death of a South Patrick Shores woman last seen two days before her body was found near a beach access last week.

Brevard County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a woman's body was found along a beach path in South Patrick Shores this morning about 7:30 a.m. "A body of a female was discovered this morning by a woman walking her dog," sheriff's Major Tod Goodyear said.

A Webster University professor and her boyfriend who were found dead at their South Patrick Shores home had a tumultuous relationship, sheriff's officials said.

Cole has leased the former site of the all-black Monroe High School for $300 a year, the only bidder for the state-owned property.
