Immigrant's advocates ignore facts

All that you write, Ms. Ritchie, is all true enough, and I doubt anyone disputes it. However, the bone of contention with the Sheriff's office as I understand it is that the discover of the immigration status of the individuals being detained is not incidental to their having broken a law or committed a crime. As I understand it Hispanic individuals are being stopped while lawfully going about their business, and that is against the Constitution of the United States. Law enforcement must have probable cause to stop someone, and I'm afraid simply walking down the road while looking Hispanic is not probable cause. This sort of thing also, I imagine, makes life annoying at times for Hispanics who are "legal," and also for American citizens of Hispanic descent, if simply looking Hispanic is criteria for a police stop. The ends may be justified, but the means are unconstitutional.

It's time to cut out the bulls--t and let Borders do His job.

I agree totally Ms Ritchie. No one has forced these people to come here. They chose to lead this life and put their families through these ordeals. They and THEY alone are responsible. Sheriff Borders is doing his job by enforcing the laws of this county, state and country.

Sheriff Borders is doing the job we elected him to do - enforce all laws. When you choose to enter this country illegally, then you place your family in the position to be seperated. I don't believe people are being stopped just walking down the street lawfully, by the way, how are you walking down the street lawfully if your very precence is illegal?

If they are here illeaglly, then ship them farther south into mexico, it will take them longer to walk back. Thinking that if they make babies they can stay is a piss poor excuse to be in the USA. The catholic church is helping these mornons because they want some of that unreported money that these dumb people are paid. Not wanting to learn our lanquage is just another slap in the face to the citizens of the USA. Let alone not paying any taxes, not paying for any medical services, the list goes on and on. Round up these low life breeders and do what has been done three times in our past history. Bus them all back to mexico. Make babies there, school your own kids. They are ILLEGAL immigrants. They don't pay taxes. They are identity thieves. They drive down wages. They are hard to track. They run up medical costs. They run up welfare costs. They contribute to crime in general.

They are given too many "rights" that they don't deserve, and I don't want to hear that it is "unconstitutional" to ask someone for their ID. It is the Sheriff's job to enforce the laws and I back him 100%.

And I strongly disagree with the gateway baby rules that allow a child if illegals to be automatically naturalized by birth in the US, then the parents granted fast-track citizenship.

They should all be deported. If they choose to leave their wives and kids behind that is their problem.

Simple logic

Since there are 20-30 ILLEGAL HISPANICS in this country it is not irrational or against the law to question hispanics about their legality. When you have this amount of lawbreakers it has nothing to do with racial profiling which is illegal(but not unconstitutional) But has everything to do with CRIMINAL profiling , completely legal and a tool of law enforcement everywhere.
If the bank robbers were Black males app 30 years old , you don't stop and question 80 year old white grannys.

Why are you not able to understand that this is about not being citizens of the United States. You may or may not be correct about being children of God, but that dosen't make you a US citizen.

As an environmentalist, i feel that illegal immigration is a problem. The advocates for the hispanics (la raza) are advising them to have children to secure their foothold in america. So, they have several children. This will ultimately degrade our standard of living. We really need to curb population growth into the future. Hispanics and other third worlders (the very poor) have no concept of this. They are operating on the very low rungs of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

Being a criminal is in the "eye of the beholder" and who has the power. This illegal alien thing should have been dealt with long ago. It was not. On another thread, the Sheriff was accused of living another lifestyle. Enough of a lifestyle where young males working in corrections resigned. If not true, sour grapes. If true, then this is a character issue. A major one. Because there are many people who are felons in this so called free nation for nothing more then using drugs. Especially if non violent. The penal system is like a warped version of Mickie D's. It keeps people employed while destroying others. One through obesity at a cheap price, the other through not being eligible for good jobs at a lifelong price. As this economy tanks, we will see what our overlords do. I wish out sheriff would do his job. There is a great way to stop this, and make money for the states too. Take their cars, just as they do ours ,when for DUI or driving with no insurance. Ileagles get away with this all the time. Let there be a price to pay for breading the law. There are some who have been sent back 10/12 times. they could be fingerprinted and if they come back a 2nd time do something. follow the laws we have instead of pandering . figure out busines and sadly our goverment don't care about what happenes to Americans, just so their pockets get filled, or they would make sure there are good jobs for our own country, instead of taking money and worring about Co's that are global= let them get their bailout from the global countries they are in. No one wants to tell it like it is, if we don't have good paying jobs those mortages and car payments are not going to be made.
