Jeffrey L. Hewitt, 52, of 1212 Flanigan Hill Road, Hinsdale, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 3, 2012, at home.

Parents at the Louis Armstrong School, P.S. 143, were not happy after learning Melissa Dean, one of the school's 5th grade teachers, had assigned her students to mail holiday cards to a prison.
