Egg vandals were busy in the early-morning hours of July 4 in Somerset County. State police at Somerset said "numerous" vehicles were egged by unknown vandals in Rockwood and Milford primarily along Main Street and Casselman Road.

A Somerset County man was jailed Friday on rape charges, state police said. Michael Eugene Lisbon, 28, of Jennerstown, was arrested after a 10-year-old girl accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2006, said Somerset state police Trooper Todd Sherle.
