As Mexico was being jolted by a series of moderate-to-strong earthquakes today, Wyoming got into the earth-shaking act, too.
Ashes trigger Sleepy Hollow fire
The fire, which began when fireplace ashes ignited a trash can at 2 Tappan Court, eventually burned three trash cans and had engulfed a nearby arbor before a neighbor reported it at about 3:45 p.m. The blaze, which caused about $5,000 in damage to the redwood arbor and plants, was extinguished "about a minute" after fire crews arrived, according to ... BEDS Council Formed to Combat Sleeplessness, Return Counting Sheep to the Wild
