The Coalition for Safe Medication Disposal reports that its fifth event, on April 28, eclipsed previous records.

The Caroline Town Board will have a public question-and-answer session on the potential ban of high-volume hydrofracking at 7 p.m. Wednesdaytodayat the Speedsville Community Center.

The toddler group will meet from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. this Friday at the Brooktondale Community Center's original building, 526 Valley Road.

If you've ever wanted to be a librarian, or just wanted a volunteer activity that's quiet and not physically hard, have we got the job for you! The Caroline Community Library needs someone to cover Thursday evenings and Fridays noon to 3 and 3 to 6 p.m. The work involves checking books in and out and doing some shelving of the returned items.

This Friday there will be the usual monthly fish fry at 5 p.m. at the Caroline Center Church, 719 Buffalo Road, a don't-miss meal that will fill you up while you catch up on what's been happening with friends and neighbors.
