While we had some dry days last week, this month began with quite a bit of rain and a pretty nasty Monday.

Grays River Grange #124 had a very busy 2009. The year began with a flood. Thankfully, the Grange survived with minimal water in the entry but the water left with a muddy mess outside in the parking areas.

Here we are, already a week into the new year. How is it treating you so far? I hope everything is going fine for you but if youa re like me, youa re already wishing for warmer weather as ita s sure been nippy lately.

For most, the first day of school is a few days off. But doing a bit of homework this week could make your travel on the last few days of summer just a bit more enjoyable.

Mike- Oh yea I forgot Obama caused the deficit. He also caused the economy to tank while pumping money into Iraq/Afghanistan. He could've been investigating white collar crimes and questionable lending practices, but he was too busy vacationing and focusing on gays/abortions/repealing environmental policies.
