La. Bond Commission OKs $72M for projects
Two northeastern Louisiana parishes will benefit from the Louisiana Bond Commission's approval of more than $72 million for projects statewide and $5.2 million in savings by refinancing existing public debt.

The State Bond Commission has approved over $72 million for projects statewide and $5.2 million in savings by refinancing existing public debt at its January 19th meeting, according to State Treasurer John Kennedy.
Dad and Dilworth always at odds
But an incident 63 years ago this winter in Simsboro summed up the visceral dislike, if not pure hatred, the two brothers-in-law shared for each other.
