The Pittsfield Economic Development Authority is pursuing the acquisition of five recreational areas that border Silver Lake so that General Electric can erect a recreational walkway for the public in that area.

This Tuesday it was Glendale and Silver Lake boulevards and the surrounding neighborhoods that were under seige as a white truck sped through the area chased by officers.

Scott Hovey his two year old daughter Emma, from Cuyahoga Falls, and Emma's grandmother Kathleen Bozzelli of Silver Lake enjoy some pizza at the 36th American Diabetes Association's 36th Annual Sugartown Express fundraiser Friday evening at the Akron/Fairlawn Hilton.

Apparently the people of Silver Lake have spoken, and they've asked for...oysters? It's hard to say if an oyster bar was exactly what was needed in the former Domenico's and Michelangelo spot, but judging from the crowds of the first few nights, it was a popular choice.

From the team behind Bar Covell, Dustin Lancaster and Matt Kaner , comes L&E Oyster Bar moving into the prior Domenico locale at 1637 Silver Lake Boulevard across the street from LAMILL.
