Dead Winter Carpenters finish work includes a Ain't It Strange'
The second album by the Dead Winter Carpenters, "Ain't It Strange," will be celebrated Friday at a show in the Crystal Bay Casino Crown Room; Yarn spins all the way from Booklyn, N.Y. to open Friday's Crown Room show for the Dead Winter Carpenters.
The meeting started with the oath of loyalty to cloth and an imaginary nation with liberty and justice for all.

Today around 10:35 in the morning the sheriff's office received a call that there was an over-turned aircraft at Deerwater Air Field in Sierraville, eastern county.
I-80 and U.S. 50 have no controls, but chains or snow tires required on a few Sierra roads
There are no chains or snow tires required on U.S. 395 through Washoe Valley but high-profile vehicles are prohibited and are required to use Bowers Mansion Road on the west side of the valley.
