Winter clothes sought for poor

Free coats! Free food at the food pantry! Now free health care! Some people don't have to work at all.

If people are choosing not to purchase new winter coats,then there are fewer available for donating!
My Lovely Wife and I will be donating some articles,including two nice warm Coats in good shape!
Many hard working people cannot afford to purchase warm winter coats for their children,never mind for themselves!
Sure there are people out there who work the system and take every advantage they can,legally and Illegally,but the majority are truly in need!
Any American who can provide a warm Coat for a cold child,and won't part with a used coat,is not an American in my book!
When things get tough for Americans,Americans help when and how they can,whether they donate time,money,or used articles of clothing and furniture,or knowledge,true Americans contribute!

Dam poor people get everthing handed too them. Soon they will want to get out of the cold and suck up some free heat. Today people need to start thinking about themselves and how they can purchase something of great value that they may not need.

As your buddy Obmama raises taxes on the middle class, the working class, they have less disposable income, they still have to eat, and pay for a shelter over their heads, and it could be the higher taxes will mean less buying power, and less donations to charity.

The Government will be picking the middle class clean, they are removing incentives to work, if you've ever seen pictures of the Russian people during the '60s, they looked very poor, mostly very worn, old clothes, that happens when you get taxed to death, so, sorry if I have to make do with my coat for a few more years, I can't afford a new one because of the inflation, from Obmama printing fiat money, and the oppressive taxes, to keep the ruling class in luxury. Why don't we hear of the rich ruling class, who takes our money, why aren't they donating money and clothes?

Because they're so greedy, the rich social leaders are the greediest of the bunch. You don't see Al Gore donation anything except carbon footprints from his jet aircraft.

then why do you pick on katherine, from silliness. you sound two sided and you will say anything to look good. maybe katherine is really sick, it does sound it?? or she is just smarter then us who work. maybe we should fall undaer the system and live the good life like her??? get your medical records out!!!

Each year my wife and I, plus the two kids, look through our closets and anything we haven't worn in the past year or two gets donated.

People it's about giving a coat to those less fortunate so they can stay warm. Who cares what each individuals circumstances are? Be kind for once.

What kind of american are you, human,person etc etc. Everyone has something going on in their lives but you don't give up or, not to bother. I agree with you a 100 percent ...winter coats are not cheap when you have a family..I rather see a person wear the donated coat than in the land fill.

its all free as long as you never worked. once you had a job and lost it their is no help for you. only help for those that never worked. why is that? and if you saved a little money up forget any help. i would rather throw my coats on the dump before helping some people out. i said some people out. out of work and can get no help and my employments checks are done. the money i have saved up which is little will have to go and pay for my taxes on my unemployment checks for next year. never got ahead just behind. health insurance if i was to buy it on my own for two 1,600 a month i didn't even make that a month. no help for people that always work. nothing is free it all comes from people who pay state and federal tax and when those people lose their jobs who will pay for people that never worked a day in there lives and can collect everything for free??
