On May 23, 2012 Captain Kevin Hodges, Commanding Officer of the 12th District in Southwest Philadelphia, along with members of Warrior's Watch Motorcycle Club, traveled to New York City to pick up steel from the Ground Zero site to be used in the construction of the 9/11 Memorial, which will be built in the City of Philadelphia.
