John Croft has admitted that he shot and killed Seth Sigmon. Croft admitted that he had been drinking, yet he was never given any type of test to determine how much alcohol was involved. Licenses for concealed weapons carry strict laws and restrictions, yet none were applied in Croft's case. Croft alleges that he was afraid, yet he was out of his fenced yard and baited Sigmon to come out of his house after threatening his son. Credible eyewitnesses said that Sigmon did not touch Croft and that Croft shot Sigmon within a minute of their encounter and continued to shoot him after he was down. Sigmon was shot in the back. Croft was brandishing a weapon in the neighborhood where children were playing. Croft waved his gun at Sigmon's friend who was trying to reach him for rescue efforts; Croft scared the friend into seeking cover. Croft is a dangerous man who mixes booze and guns. His experiences as a vet--if anything--trained him to kill and are mixed in his head, making him think he can shoot at will. Sigmon was a beautiful, peaceful, loving man who was dedicated to his family. Croft stole his life, and Sigmon's family will not rest until Croft is brought to justice! Over 300 people attended Sigmon's funeral services. There is no justice in letting Croft walk free. It is up to the Prosecuting Attorney to upgrade the charge to Murder! Croft bonded out of jail for $50K and no restrictions. Did the Pasco Sheriff's office do their job? Don't say that you are tired of violence and let this senseless killing go unnoticed. Sign on to urge prosecutors to make the world safer by locking Croft up for good and charging him with the cold-blooded murder he committed. In addition, he drove away the rest of Sigmon's family who is afraid to stay in their home. Why is this old man getting such a break? I will get to the bottom of this--I promise.
