KSPR has learned a U.S. Navy sailor from Seymour, Missouri charged with child abuse in connection to the death of a four-month-old Virginia girl, has withdrawn his request for bond and will remain behind bars.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Lynn Michelle, 22, of Mansfield was driving a 2003 Kia Optima west on U.S. 60 in Seymour when it failed to stop and struck the rear of a stopped vehicle.
