Search is on for 19-year-old who is believed to have drowned at Rend Lake
The teen was apparently swimming off south Sandusky Beach today at Rend Lake . The Corps of Engineers, Rend Lake Search and Rescue and Sesser Fire Department are all looking for him .
An 11th hour agreement has been reached between the Rend Lake Conservancy District and the city of Sesser and water will continue to flow to the city.
Water Continues to Flow to Sesser
The Rend Lake Conservancy District says the threatened water shutoff for the city of Sesser has been avoided.
RLCD stopping water service to Sesser
The Rend Lake Conservancy District is refusing to provide water to Sesser due to past due balances and late fees which have piled up to more than $115,000. "The City of Sesser has, since July 2009, refused to pay Inter City Water, a fund of Rend Lake Conservancy District, for $5,000 of water each month," information from RLCD states.
Man ordered imprisoned in throat slashing
