Sioux City leaders are looking at raising your water rates. Last night, the city council started considering a plan to hike rates by 7% each year for three years.

Woodbury County wants to plan an industrial park to provide jobs for people. Those jobs may take more than 30 years to materialize, but the County wants to plan for growth.

Results from the Woodbury County Auditor show Gaukel got 282 write-in votes to beat out Alan Anderson and Derek Wilson.

Monday will mark the first day for Burlington's new city manager, Jim Ferneau. Ferneau said he is looking forward to starting work and will spend much of his first day getting to know the people he will be working with in City Hall.
