Apologetic teens charged in Goose River Grocery burglaries
BELFAST : Three boys, two 18-year-olds and a 16-year-old, were charged June 24 in connection with two separate break-ins at Goose River Grocery, and all have since written apology letters to the business owner.

'Water Show' opens Drawing Room
ST. GEORGE : The Drawing Room, Route 131, will open its first exhibit of 2009, "Water Show," with a 5 to 8 p.m. public reception Friday, June 5. The Drawing Room/Fine Art & Illustration is located halfway between Thomaston and Tenants Harbor.
SEARSMONT : Watercolors and oil paintings by John Silverio of Lincolnville are on exhibit through July 9 at the Searsmont Town Library.
Handbell concert raises money for Meals on Wheels
WARREN : The Let the Bells Ring handbell concert performed on May 2 at the Second Congregational Church in Warren raised $500 to donate to Knox County Meals on Wheels.
