A Florida woman charged with killing her 5-year-old son more than 20 years ago in New Jersey has pleaded not guilty. A lawyer for Michelle Lodzinski entered the plea during a brief court hearing in New Brunswick on Tuesday.

Mother accused in 1991 killing of son, Timmy Wiltsey, returning to N.J. today
MIDDLESEX COUNTY - The former New Jersey woman charged earlier this summer with killing her 5-year-old son in the early 1990s is being flown back to the state today, according to her brother. Michelle Lodzinski's son, Timothy Wiltsey, was reported missing by his mother on May 25, 1991, when he was 5 years old.

South Brunswick Arrest Two In Local Burglary String
South Brunswick Police have arrested two people connected to a string of burglaries in the Brunswick Acres and Monmouth Junction areas. The suspects would break into homes off Route 27 in the majority of cases, but were also linked to a Monmouth Junction home burglary on Hillside Avenue on August 4. In all there have been nine burglaries in the impacted neighborhoods since April 1 that are believed to be connected to the suspects.

Powerful storms knock out power to thousands
Powerful thunderstorms moved across New Jersey late Saturday afternoon knocking out power to thousands of customers, especially in Monmouth and Middlesex counties. Nearly 32,000 JCP&L customers were without power as of 8 p.m. Hardes hit were Monroe, Sayreville and South Amboy in Middlesex County, Freehold Township, Middletown Millstone in Monmouth County, according to the utility's outage map.

Power went out for more than 8,000 in Monroe Township, the utility reported just after 5 p.m. In Sayreville, 3,700 were without power as of 5:37 p.m., and in South Amboy, more than 2,200 people were without power. The utility reported sporadic outages elsewhere.

Today, as a follow-up to the news story reported by this Examiner, last month, the 23 year-old case may be coming to fruition. As reported again by the Home News Tribune today, Michelle Lodzinski has been held without bail since her arrest on August 6th.
