The flood fight is in high gear along the Mouse River. From one end of the river to the other, the mighty Mouse is flexing its muscles - washing out some homes, flooding farm and ranch lands, and altering transportation.

The town of Sawyer is built in a valley. With plenty of water coming in from the hills, it`s an easy target to flood.

When the rising Mouse River got past Minot, it began stretching out over thousands of acres of farm and ranch land.
