Lynwood Woman Charged in Fatal Sauk Village Fire
A Lynwood woman was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and arson Friday after a body was discovered under "a tremendous amount of debris" three days after a house fire.
Christina D. Stone, 20, was charged with first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated arson for the 6:30 a.m. fire at 237 Falcon Drive on June 15, authorities said.
An insurance agent was at the house investigating the blaze when she found a body in the rubble Wednesday, Sauk Village Fire Department Capt. Rich Atwood said.
