Mother of missing Fla. girl closes info center

Is that the real reason that center was closed or was it she was not making the money she thought she would make.

I think the heat just turned on her. It was fine for months when she and all her followers where trashing Ron as much as possible but when people started looking at real reason for this center to be open, she packed it up and left. ALL IMO

Sounds like ya'll have it nailed. KP, MG, and CS weren't making enough money. I've heard that Satsuma was pretty much sick of the crap that they were flinging around also.

No one likes when a person makes money off of a tragedy. Crystal hasn't worked in how long then suddenly her daughter (whom she barely sees) goes missing and the money starts rolling in. Sounds like a text book motive to me.

You're right. It was all fine and dandy when everyone was focusing on Ron and Misty, but people don't stay oblivious for too long before they catch on to who's trying to take the focus off of what.

I'm glad to know we are all on the same page. I have always complained about Crystal and her greedy false fingernailed hand grabbing the money meant for HaLeigh. The money was meant to help in the search for her precious missing daughter.
Maybe she closed the center because "she just didn't feel like getting up". Surely this center has screwed up her life style. Imagine..she had to bathe and wash her hair often and even get out of bed to open the center. That's almost like work! Crystal, want money? Get a job! No, you probably will not make the $$$ you have made from this tragedy. JMO

A lot of people feel like you do. she WAsnt going to the "center" anyways after the first couple of weeks so she wasnt put out much. sure she showed up if there was gonna be a camera crew (like the tjhart dude) but she never once mentioned haleigh then or if there was some quick $ to make sellin $4 tshirts for $20 (non proffit my azz). alls she wanted to talk about was how mean people was being to her on the net. funny she has more pics of her wrecked car on her myspace then she does of her daughter she loves so much. her kids r just a nuisance to her.

I agree, if your gonna talk about one side then make sur the other sides hands are clean...Ronald made money also and he jusy went out and blew his on things that certainly he did not need and that did not help find Haleigh......The HBC is being moved for the reasons that Kim has stated and no other reason....the future will show what is gonna become of the HBC and alot of people are gonna have to eat their words!

This post says "Mother of Missing Florida Girl Closes Info Center". If it had been about Ron and Misty closing the HBC, we could have discussed them. I agree that Ron and Misty's actions have not been morally correct. However, I don't think HaLeigh was TOO unhappy with Dad. Look at that beautiful smile in all of her photos. I have not seen one picture where she looked sad. Even the ones that are supposed to show bruises and beatings.......
I'm not taking sides. There's just something about that faky Crystal that makes me want to barf when she attempts to cry and can't even squeeze out one tear. Why does she even carry that tissue?

Ive seen her cry plenty, but what difference does a tear make if you wanna get tecnical, Misty was crying her eyes out in her interview at her Moms house and the entire time was just planning for her wedding to Ron and wondering how to get out of being questioned by LE again and what lie was she gonna tell next...so...

yeppers..
this center will never open again...and if it does, it will last about a month at best...Crystal does not have ambition enough to get up every day and go to the center to keep it running...besides, all she really needs is her phone number for people to phone in any tips...I think that if most people had any tips they would call the police before calling Crystal...jmo...

I dont know I know someone who called the police with a tip but nothing was done, so they called the center and still nothing but an answering machine. The tip that was given I believe was a good one, cause its odd how Misty and what looked like to be Ron was in St Augustine back in some wooded area that is miles and miles long, and the tipster that called in was a postal employee. I guess they dont care about finding that child.

you people are mean. haleigh wasn't 'kidnapped' on her mothers' watch. it was rons'. yeah, he was at work & doesn't know a thing, & the teen babysitter slept through it all. whatever. defending these 2 & running down the mother doesn't make sense & makes you all look stupid.

but maybe if the mother was the parent who had custody, maybe none of it would have happened..but the courts determined that Ron should have custody and he was at least working trying to support his family...what was Crystal doing? living happily an hour or so away with her new family..not helping in the support or welfare of her first 2 children and now she isn't either ...she left jr.again with the father that she claims was abusive with her children...eye roll here....but since she only saw her children every 2 weeks and didn't call to check on them in between time, didn't call her school to see how she was doing in school etc...was behind in her child support, I guess that some might think that she was more caring for her children than ron was/is..
I am not on either parents side...I am on Haleigh's side but at least I call it as I see it...both of these parents failed this child as far as I am concerned...
