In pursuit of his goal of creating a transit system within the Seminole Nation, Principal Chief Enoch Kelly Haney announced on April 4, 2007, that the US Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration issued a notice of award listing the Seminole Nation as the recipients of a $145,000 Tribal Transit Grant.
