Santa Fe Springs home featured on "Extreme Makeover" for sale

Good luck selling a house in the 800,000's in that neighborhood. Try the 300,000 range. It was pouring rain all week when that was built. I can only imagine the mold potential.

Greed does terrible things to people. The Leomiti's should be ashamed of themselves.

I remember when they built that house. Its a shame that there is so much drama attached to it. Your right, no one is paying $800,000 for a house in Santa Fe Springs.

Even the new housing track at Heritage Springs are going for the upper 400,000.

THAT house will not sell for 800K range. Good luck ridding the house for mid 400K, in that area. It stands out like a zit. Its only 4 years old and they will pocket whatever it is selling for, BC if I recall correctly they dont have any mortgage.
SURE its the right time to sell, so they can pocket that money. Shame on that family for giving those kids the heev.

The Leomiti's should give the proceeds from the sale of the house to the Higgin's family. They are the reason why the home was built.

That is so definately true. Its still so uncertain why there was a fallout between the Leomitis and the Higgins. It just seemed SO SHADY of this family to have done that to those kids. They seemed so sincere in wanting to help them. Now I think they were in it for their own SELFISH GREED to keep the house for themselves and sell it for profit. I hope NOONE buys this house from them.

it wasnt the leomitis that did anything wrong. they took those kids in off the street. it was the ungrateful kids that sued cuz they felt the leomitis family was profiting by getting a new house built for free. the leomitis should have left those ungrateful kids in the streets .

I drive by that house everyday and feel nothing but the greed from them. The kids were out of the house so quick I don't think they had a chance to even see the whole house.

Aren't they trying to profit from it now?? That house was built BECAUSE they took in those kids. If that had never happened, they would have had the same old house they were in before. They should NOT profit from the sale of that house. Those are ill gotten gains! Karma will catch up with them.

ill gotten gains ??????? they deserve every penny they get for that house for taking the kids in off the street. the kids are the ones with bad karma following them. how many people would take in a set of kids when they were having their own financial hardships? i noticed you didnt open your house to them.

Leometi's I hope you get what you deserve. It's so obvious that this couple do things for profit. Beginning with the adoption. It's unfortunate that these children were decieved I only hope and pray that the outcome will be in their favor. I'll certainly keep you in my prayers.

Excuse me, but isn't a parents love an "Unconditional" one? I know that a true/loving parent doesn't throw out there kids out onto the street. No matter how angry and upset we may become. I spell this "A GREEDY PROFITABLE TRANSACTON"

So, what's the difference where there at now. They're homeless now aren't they? Again, what's happened to the unconditional Love of a parent? Oh I forgot they're not the real/parents these individuals were driven by Greed. I only hope and pray that the sale of this property goes to the children who really deserve it.

obviously these people why did they contact that show if they didn't want to gain something from taking those kids in, if you are going to do a good deed doing it from your heart and God will reward you in private but if you showboat then you will get something and it will soon crumble that's what happened to these greedy couple, its the kids money give it to them.
