People keep driving drunk because they think they won't get caught and that nothing bad will happen to them. It's always the other guy that causes accidents and gets charged with DUI - never them. Will it ever end? Probably not. The liquor lobby in NM is too powerful and have paid off too many NM politicians for the state to have any real progressive consequences for drunk driving. Sad.
